Sunny Monday in Salt Lake City

Today we took a little day trip down to Salt Lake.  Kole had a short meeting but other than that we really didn't do much.  We decided to take the kids to Temple Square and see if we could get any good pictures out of the experience.  Ha ha.  Like that was really going to happen.  Once again- I REALLY need a new camera and I'm sure it wouldn't hurt if I was a better photographer... and maybe I can borrow some stunt children who know how to look at the camera and smile without being total goofballs or having that creepy "Chandler Bing wedding announcement smile".  Oh well- at least we all had fun.

 

 

Underwater Adventure

Last week we took a little day trip to the Living Planet Aquarium.  The kids thought it was pretty amazing.  I found it a little small and overpriced but it was still fun.  The whole place is kind of dark inside so it was extra hard to take any decent pictures on my already crappy camera... but this is what we got.

The kids thought the stingray tank was the best part.  We had to go back there several times.  I guess petting a live sting ray is pretty cool.

I don't know if you can tell the look on Jack's face but I'm pretty sure it was total terror.

One stingray was so friendly.

During our last visit to the stingray tank, Jack decided that petting them was just not fun enough.  He also wanted to take a little swim with them.  Seems like that was our queue to go.
