Here is our new home- bare bones and without anything in it (our little beige wonderland). It's a split level from the 70's. Just the kind of home that everyone dreams about. I know you're all jealous. I admit, it may not be the most beautiful or impressive home I've ever see but it it is just what we need and want right now. And we always joke that no one can accuse us of improperly spending Kole's income from the Church. I can't wait to make it our own and we have lots of plans for it. It is just what we wanted: a place that was move-in-ready with new carpet, windows and inside surfaces but that had lots of potential for home improvement and building equity. And there is room enough to grow and have a guest bedroom. And it was in our price range (which I really thought was never going to happen. I was think a box was going to be our next home)! It's a great location- right in the middle of the Salt Lake Valley so it is easy to get where we need to go pretty quickly. I was kind of worried about moving to the "big city" but it felt like home almost right away and I don't even worry about getting lost. We feel very inspired that this is exactly where we need to be.
